  一、案例分析:

  1、教学内容:本课是小学英语EEC六年级上册Unit 5 Riding the

  Roller Coaster 第一课时。

  2、学生分析:由于学生对形容词的比较级和最高级(形容词+er

  /+est )稍有所了解和认识。所以学生学习起来并不是很难。但是学

  生对身高的学习是第一次,学习兴趣应会很高。

  3、教学目标:

  ①、知识目标:能熟练掌握"How tall are you? I'm__cm tall."

  以及比较级taller,shorter,补充内容最高级tallest,shortest.

  ②、技能目标:能够对有关身高的问题进行问答和能与他人合作

  完成任务,提高合作能力和分析能力。

  ③、情感目标:将本课与学生生活紧密联系,增强学生对英语的

  兴趣。并教育学生要有健康的体魄,养成良好的生活习惯。

  4、教学重难点:能灵活运用"How tall are you?"并能准确用

  I'm__cm tall.回答,区分运用tall and taller, short and shorter. 会用I`m taller than___ ,____is

  the tallest 造句。

  5、教学方法:谈话法、任务型教学法、全身反应法、情境教学

  法。

  6、教具准备:多媒体课件、单词卡等

  二、教学过程:

  Step1:Warm-up:

  1Greeting

  Song T:Hello! How are you?

  S:I am fine. Thank you.

  T:How is the weather?

  S:It is ___today.

  2 .Review the numbers(出示课件数字)

  3.Lead-in

  出示课件:(roller coaster)

  T:What’s this?

  Ss:Roller coaster.

  T:Do you want to go riding the roller coaster.

  OK,let’s go riding the roller coaster.Today we’ll learn the Unit5 Riding the Roller coaster.(出示标题)

  Step2Listen and Speak

  1.Open your books and turn to Page44,look at the pictures. T:Who are they and where are they?

  2.Listen to the tape carefully ,and answer my question. Q:What are they talking about? (You say it in Chinese.) Step3: Presentation:

  1 Teaching new words and phrases

  出示课件(姚明)

  T:What is his name? Do you know?

  S:He’s Yao Ming. How old is he? /Is he very very tall?......

  T:Yes,he is very tall. (出示单词卡片tall练习)How tall is he?

  (由How old is he?引出How tall is he?)Can you guess the meaning?

  T:He is ___cm tall.(Practise the pronunction of "point"and "centimetre".)

  师生练习T: How tall is he?

  S:He is 226cm tall.

  T:How tall are you? Do you know?(如不知道可以测量一下) S:I’m ____cm tall.(由姚明的身高问答引出How tall are you?)生生练习:小组或同桌练习

  1)Listen to the tape again ,and answer the question. Q:How tall is Jenny?

  I’m ____cm tall.(板书句子)

  S1:I’m 158cm tall. Oh ,I’m taller than you are .I’m 165cm tall .

  taller 较高的(tall比较级) than与……相比

  2)Listen to the tape again ,and answer the question. Q:How tall is Jim?

  师生比个练习

  T: How tall are you?

  S1:I’m ___cm tall. Oh ,I’m taller than you are .I’m 165cm tall .S2:I’m 170cm tall.

  T:Oh, I’m shorter than you are.You are the tallest.

  3)Listen to the tape again ,and answer the question. Q:How tall is Xiaoxiao? Who is the tallest?

  生生练习(小组比个)

  总结身高,少一人的身高What about Qiaoqiao?

  4)Listen to the tape and Can he ride the roller coaster? Why can’t he ride the roller coaster?

  Ss:No,he’s too short.

  Step4:Pratice

  1. listen and repeat.

  2. Read the dialogue in a role.

  3. Play a game.

  Roll the ball.(教师先问一个学生的身高,第一个学生回答后坐下,第二个学生要先介绍第一个学生的身高再介绍自己的身高,以此类推往下,记得最多的学生为优胜者)

  4. Complete the sentence.

  Step4 Summary

  T:Heiht is very important for us.So you must eat enough food such as vegetables and fruit and so on,then you can have a healthy body.

  Homework: 1)用本课的知识对家人的身高作一下调查。

  2)Copy the dialogue one time, and read the dialogue fluently.

  三、教学反思:

  本节课内容多,任务量大,在教学设计上我充分认识到了这点。所以我设计了一系列活动来完成教学内容,但课后效果不是很好。

  我对每一个环节都做了细心的准备,在课中我使用了情境教学法,情境教学法让学生置身于真实语境中学习真实的语言,充分发挥他们的主体作用。本课我对教材内容进行了适当的调整,把课本上的死内容变成了学生的活需要,为学生提供了较真实的开口说英语的环境。同时也使用了任务型教学,我采用小组调查的形式让学生互相比个子高矮,并在小组中交流,最后在全班汇报。学生通过调查实践,提高了语言的综合运用能力。 1

  但由于学生的英语底子不同,复习本课所用的旧知有限,并没有让所有的同学都对本课新知得到充分的学习和运用。在今后的教学过程中对这样的问题我应该采取分层式教学,对英语学习困难的同学多予以肯定、关注和鼓励。
