The Ebian Black Bamboo Ditch locates in Ebian Autonomy County, with core spot 180 square kilometers, which is 100 kilometers away from Mt. Emei and 100 kilometers away from the Giant Buddha. In the scenic area, the force of the mountains is dangerous, the old tree are towering, the rare birds wing to wing, the wonderful flower struggles, the waterfall colorfully flies hangs, the cloud mist winds around, therefore the Black Bamboo Ditch has the name of China "Bermuda". Today is a fine day. When I was going down the stairs and going to have breakfast. I suddenly saw two strings of red peppers on both sides of the living room and a big Chinese knot on the wall above the sofa. To my surprise, there were also four small lanterns hung on the top of the balcony. “ Strange! In the past years, we never decorated our house during the Spring Festival.” I said to myself. “but this year….” At the moment, the telephone rang.
I quickly picked up the phone. That’s mum. She said that they decorated the house this morning before they went to work. And she told me that almost everyone in her company decorated their houses, even her company was decorated as well. How interesting that is! After breakfast, I went to the balcony, breeze blew to my face. It was gentle and warm. The four small lanterns swang, too, like smiling to the wind. How lovely! With these nice decorations， I think the Spring Festival will be more interesting and colourful!

Christmas arouses increasing attention year by year in China. Christmas cards become popular with students. People hold Christmas parties and exchange Christmas girts. A lot or TV and radio programs about Christmas are on. Meanwhile the Spring Festival is less appealing （具有吸引力的）to youngsters. Thus some people wonder whether Christmas will replace the Spring Festival.
This worry is fairly unnecessary. Why ？ One reason lies that Christmas only affects Christians，college students and joint-venture （合资企业）workers. Another reason is that Christmas is mostly celebrated in cities. Few people in countryside show extreme interest in this exotic（富有异国情调的） festival. By contrast，the Spring Festival is the most influential traditional festival in every family.
I think，it is natural that with increasing exchanges with the West，a lot of Western holidays have been gradually introduced into China. For us Chinese we should never neglect or even discard our own traditional festivals. For centuries Chinese have observed this traditional holiday to welcome the beginning of a new year. And we will treasure the Spring Festival forever.

Nowadays, the problem of aging population is becoming much more serious in China. In addition, the amount of empty nesters is increasing rapidly. There are several reasons that caused the phenomenon of empty nesters. First of all, there are more opportunities in the urban areas, young people from the rural areas tend to leave their hometown and settle in the cities. As a result, their aging parents have to live alone. Secondly, facing too much pressure from work and life, young people actually have little time to look after their parents. They have to work day and night before getting paid, and the amount of holiday to rest is quite limited. Thus, the elders become empty-nested. To solve this social problem effectively, both the governments and the whole society should take measures. For the governments, they should emphasize the importance of caring parents by utilizing the popular social media such as WeChat and Weibo, thereby improving our awareness. For the whole society, more volunteers should be gathered in order to look after those empty nesters. By these methods, the problem of empty nesters should be solved gradually.
