Choosing an Occupation
One of the most important problems a young person faces is deciding what to do. There are some people, of course, who from the time they are six years old “know” that they want to be doctors or pilots or fire fighters, but the majority of us do not get around to making a decision about an occupation or career until somebody or something forces us to face the problem.
Choosing an occupation takes time, and there are a lot of things you have to think about as you try to decide what you would like to do. You may find that you will have to take special courses to qualify for a particular kind of work, or you may find out that you will need to get actual work experience to gain enough knowledge to qualify for a particular .
Fortunately, there are a lot of people you can turn to for advice and help in making your decision. At most schools, there are teachers who are professionally qualified to give you detailed information about job qualifications. And you can talk over your ideas with family members and friends who are always ready to listen and to offer suggestions.

College days are important stages. It's important for college students to spend this period of time on academic development as well as on social skills. Therefore, many students are doing business in their leisure time. Some people are supportive of it, while others hold the opposite view. I am favor of the former.
Doing business at college has got more advantages than disadvantages. The first reason is that by doing business at college students can earn some money to pay their daily expenditure so that reduce the financial burden of their parents. Secondly, doing business is a good social practice. Those who have gained some experience at college in the field of business will prove more competitive in getting employed after graduation. Of course, it is undeniable that doing business is quite risky sometimes. You may lose some money and a lot of time.
From the above-mention points, we can conclude that doing business at college is worthwhile only if one can keep a good balance between study and business.

I want to set up a flower shop. It’s my ideal work. I think flower is the most beautiful gifts given by nature. And flower is a good way to express one’s affection. Our school is far away from the downtown. As a result, it is a good place for students to study. We won’t be disturbed by the crowded people and the noise. For me, I like the scenery in the campus, trees are around, especially when I look out of the window in the break time. I will look at the scenery that is far away, sometimes I can see birds flying. There is a road that circles the mountain, which looks like a snake. When cars are driving in the road, I will be wondering who is coming, maybe our parents or just some strangers. The scenery outside the window provides me another world. I like to think about a lot of questions and sometimes my thought will go around the mountain. This is my little world.

Internet Slang
Internet slang such as LOL (laughing out loud) and ROFL (rolling on the floor laughing) enjoys great popularity among teenagers nowadays. In fact, it becomes so popular that many terms now cross from computer-mediated communication to face-to-face communication. Some teenagers even use them in essay writing.
People have different opinions towards this phenomenon. Some people say that it will help enrich the language system and make language diverse. But others disagree, saying that these new words, being abbreviations for existing, long-used phrases, don't "enrich" anything; they just shorten it and their total effect on language will be trivial.
In my opinion, Internet slang has little effect on language in general, but will greatly influence individuals', especially teenagers' language development. The reason is that overuse of Internet slang will lead to the lack of proper punctuations and grammar and has numerous misspellings in writing. That will drastically reduce chances of employment when students graduate and seek jobs. So, for the sake of their future, teenagers had better refrain from Internet slang.
