Begratefulforfri
It is a celebrating day. I got in touch with Michael whom I have been losing contact for one year.
It is really magic. I was searching online aimlessly yesterday when an idea struck me suddenly: since Ben can find out my secret by keying in my name in the search engines, why can’t I do so, either?
I intended to find out something about Ben in revenge in the first place, but soon extend my name list to a wider category. It was then that I recalled Michael suddenly.
We have lost contact since our last correspondence in my senior 3. He mentioned to me in his last letter that he was preparing for going to UK to further his education. I, shamefully, was too busy to reply his mail then. When I was recommended to ZJU and won the final freedom, I thought he had already been in UK so I had no idea where to write him.
I used to think that we would never meet again. However, when I browsed the entries about him, I found out excitedly that he is still in P.R.C.!!
Without a moment hesitation, I ran upstairs to my dorm and found out my old address book. Thank goodness, his home no was still there.
After 3 times calling with no answer replies, I eventually got him on the phone. He was more surprised than I could imagine that when I asked for his hp no he was too nervous to remember it. :P Hehe.
Life is enjoyable in moments such like this. Old friends meet again surprisingly, on a road of their own ways to their dreams. they look at the face of each other, and recognize the old pal. It is such moment that makes me feel grateful to life: whenever I set off for a new destination, I see I have friends in the same direction, with whom I won’t feel alone any more.
Nowadays more and more families own private cars. Private cars, as the product of modem civilization, have been playing a vital role in peoples daily activities. First, private cars are a convenient means of transportation. You can go wherever you like. Secondly, there is no doubt that private cars will have a great impact on the economic growth. The rapid car industry growth will contribute much to keeping the countrys economy growing at a higher rate in the near futrue.
But every coin has two sides. The development of the private cars will bring about a series of problems. For example, the polluted air given off by cars will do great harm to our health, too many private cars will lead to traffic jams and a great deal of energy will be wasted and so on.
So I think we should take advantages of private cars and make them serve us better. Meantime we hope that satisfactory solutions to these negative problems will be found soon.
Practice Makes Perfect
The saying that practice makes perfect means that after you have plenty of practice in what you are doing, you will be perfect in it. He who practices a lot will master the skill more quickly than he who seldom or hardly practices.
For example, when we learn English, we have to learn grammar, words, expressions and so on. The most important thing may be how to put what we have learned into practice. If you only learn the grammar rules by heart and don't do enough exercises, it is certain that you can't understand them perfectly. But if you practice a lot, maybe you will understand them more deeply and you can find some good methods of applying them. Memorizing English words whenever time permits,we can easily memorize them and can even find a way to memorize them more quickly.
There is another example. A famous singer can sing very welt. Of course, his talent is very important, but practice is necessary. It is necessary to practice to make the singer sing better and better.
It is evident that practice is important for everybody. If you want to improve your study and work, you should remember that practice makes perfect.
I have a rich summer vacation.
My summer vacation was flat and full, saying it was plain because I had been traveling every summer, but not this year. To say it was enriched was because there was a lot of meaning in this holiday party.
In particular, I was impressed by the visit to jiangsu science and technology museum, and then we went to a lab.
In the morning of the hot sun, my father drove me to the gate of jiangsu science and technology center, and I looked around to see the students waiting for me at the door. I ran away excitedly. To my surprise, the jiangsu museum of science and technology was built in a vegetable market.
We watched all kinds of things in it, and sometimes we couldn't say loud.
Set up a "science and technology, jiangsu science and technology museum wisdom", "to seek, to find", "digital information", "ecological home", ", healthy life "the five tastes laser show show display area and science play 4 d motion cinema as well as the experimental garden and so on. Walking into the pavilion, there are two robots in front of the gate. There are a lot of hands-on projects in the science and technology museum, such as rising hot air balloons, the ramadburg hemispheres, analog cars, lying beds, digital magic books, virtual horse racing, magical weather worlds, and so on. Jiangsu science and technology museum let us feel the science of the big and the mystery, let people linger
After lunch, we arrived at the lab, with all kinds of large and small instruments to dazzle us, and the colorful potions made us look beautiful. Cao's mother also gave us two experiments, each with two bottles of sunscreen.
My summer vacation is all about these things.
About Examinations
I don't remember how many examinations I've taken since I began my schooling. Truth to tell, I don't like examinations at all. I dare say that, in fact, no student likes examinations.
We often hear people say Examinations are teachers' magic weapon, so most of us may think it is our teachers who give us students so many examinations. But I don't think so. Almost all of them have once been students before they became teachers. We don't like examinations, and neither do our teachers, which may be reasonably concluded. What's more, the more examinations we take, the more time will be taken from our teachers and the more troubles our teachers have to take.
It is the system in our country, I think, that gives us students so many examinations. If there were no entrance examinations, and all the students could go up to the higher grades without competition, there would not be so many examinations in primary and middle schools. So it is important and necessary to reform the entrance system. Only in this way can examinations be GREatly reduced, and then all the students will be happier.
