  一、引言

  Simon: Look, Daming. Tomorrow is Flag Day.

  Daming: What do you do on Flag Day?

  Simon: We carry flags and we sing songs.

  Daming: Can you tell me more about American festivals, Simon?

  Simon: Well, Thanksgiving is my favourite festival.

  Daming: What do you do on Thanksgiving Day?

  Simon: We always have a special meal. It’s a big family dinner.

  Daming: That’s good.

  Simon: On the Thanksgiving Day, we say ”thank-you” for our food, family and friends.

  Daming: That sounds nice.

  Simon: And after Thanksgiving dinner, we watch a big football game on TV.

  Daming: That’s great! I think I like Thanksgiving, too.

  二、教学对象:小学六年级学生

  三、学习目标:

  (一)语言知识

  1 能理解、认读生词:festival, special, meal, sound。

  2. 能理解和认读下面三个句子:

  (1)Thanksgiving is my favourite festival.

  (2)We always have a special meal.

  (3)We say‘thank-you’ for our food, family and friends.

  (二)语言技能目标

  1. 能阅读理解课文;

  2. 能模仿朗读课文。

  3. 能努力猜测festival, special, meal, sound等生词和句子We always have a special meal. We say ‘thank-you’ for your food, family and friends.”的语义;

  4. 能用口头运用”We always have a special meal. We say ‘thank-you’ for our food, family and friends.”这些句子介绍相关节日的活动

  (三)情感态度目标:

  1.能集中注意力认真观察本课生词和新句子所在的语境,并通过联想在语境和语义之间建立起联系;

  2. 能谈论和描述课文所介绍的节日,并产生对其他的西方节日的兴趣。

  3.能在积极参与活动、和他人合作完成任务的过程中获得学习的乐趣和学习成就感。

  四、教学重点难点:

  (一)重点:

  1.基本能听懂、会读festival, special, meal, sound。

  2. 能理解和认读句子”We always have a special meal.” ”We say‘ thank-you’ for your food, family and friends.”

  (二)难点:

  运用本课的句子描述相关的节日的主要活动。

  五、教学方法:

  (1) 情景教学法:在课堂中创设真实或模拟的情景,帮助学生在猜测、模仿、等过程中理解、模仿和运用生词和新句子。

  (2) 任务型语言教学:设计任务型活动,让学生在完成任务的过程中学会运用Thanksgiving is my favourite festival. / We always have a special meal./We say’ thank-you’ for your food, family and friends. 来描述节日的活动。

  (3)直观教学法、提问法:精讲多练,充分发挥学生的主体作用,在活动中,通过合作学习,建立团队意识和集体责任感。
