《A visit to the UN》教案

  教学目标:

  1.知识目标

  (1)要求学生掌握词汇:peace,building, all around, show,inside

  (2)运用句型询问他人的意愿以及表达自己的意愿

  Do you want to ...? Yes, I do./ No, I don't.

  I want to ... .

  2. 技能目标

  (1)能读懂、理解课文大意并回答出相关问题,并尝试复述课文。

  (2)能模仿目标语句谈论自己的一次visit,并且能够写一写。

  3. 情感目标 激发学生学习英语的积极性,培养学生学习的自主性,养成他们乐于交流、乐于合作的品质,以及培养学生的跨文化意识。

  学习策略:

  1)能积极与他人合作,共同完成学习任务。

  2)能积极运用所学的知识进行表达和交流。

  教学重点:

  1、正确理解课文。

  2、询问他人的意愿并表达自己的意愿

  教学难点:

  如何正确使用 I want to ... 句型描述并写写自己的一次visit

  教学辅助:

  单词卡、多媒体课件、课堂评价

  教学过程:

  一、Pre-reading

  1.Say a chant .

  (设计意图:以一首chant进行热身,让学生初步感受过want to ,为后面的学习做好铺垫,同时激发学生学习英语的兴趣。)

  2.Work in two pairs ,ask and answer. 操练句型Do you want to visit Sanya? Yes, I do./ No, I don't .然后再让学生用I want to go swimming.说说自己想去做什么。

  (设计意图:让学生学会运用重点句型,为后面的学习和运用作好铺垫。)

  3.教师说:“你们想去这么多地方,那么老师想去哪里呢?”此时PPT呈现 the UN buiding,教授building, 然后让学生说说一些关于the UN building 的'一些事。

  (设计意图:此活动不仅让学生感受不同国家的文化,又能为后面的教学创设情境,并且让学生养成预习的习惯。)

  二 、While-reading

  1. Listen to the whole text and answer

  Where do they want to go?

  Do they want to go inside?

  2.Read the first paragraph and choose

  (1)。What do Daming and Simon see outside the UN building?

  A.There are 191 flags . B.There are 181 flags.

  C.There are 191 flowers.

  (2)。Where are the flags from?

  A.They are from China.

  B.They are from all around the world.

  C.They are from America.

  3. Read the second paragraph and say “T”or“F”

  (1)。The present from China is a bus.( )

  (2)。PRC gave the present in 1974.( )

  Where do Daming and Simon want to go?Can they tell us something about the place?What do they want to do?

  Daming and Simon want to visit the UN building.The building is very _____.

  There are flags from 191 countries want to_______.

  They want to go inside the UN building.The present from China is a _______.

  4.Read the whole text and try to finish this table

  5.What’s your opinion ?

  Is peace very important for us?

  Is Daming very happy?

  (设计意图:设计跟课文有关的问题,让学生有目的地阅读,使他们正确理解课文大意。并且在阅读中借助图片处理词汇,让学生在语境下学习新词汇。)

  三、Post-reading

  1. Retell the story according to the keywords.

  2.Group work: Discuss in groups.

  Where do you want to go?

  Can you tell me something about the place?

  What do you want to do there?

  (设计意图:教师出示四个城市的照片,以小组形式让学生描述自己想去的地方,学生可以随便选择自己想要去的地方,并且为后面的写作做好铺垫。)

  3.学生进行小组展示。

  4.教师给出自己的A visit to New York.让学生仿写他们自己的一次visit.

  5.学生进行小作文展示。

  (设计意图:让学生写自己的旅游计划,并朗读展示,鼓励他们运用所学的知识进行表达和交流。)

  四、Summary.让学生自己说一说今天学会了什么?

  五、Homework

  1.Make a survey about your parents’ travel.
